Terese’s Flowers of Hope of Milwaukee has a simple mission: “Spreading Hope, One Bouquet at a time.” Our volunteers deliver flowers to cancer patients receiving treatments with messages of hope and positivity to carry them through their journey. Although the hope we spread has no boundaries, we still operate out of our original location, Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center.

Our Story
Froedtert is where Terese Ulickey began spreading her flowers of hope while battling cancer. In 2016, Terese received an outpouring of love from family and friends while facing treatment for her third bout with metastatic breast cancer. Part of this outpouring a regular delivery of multiple bouquets of flowers over the course of her treatments. Terese held a special place in her heart for FLOWERS, and so in selfless fashion, Terese wanted to pay it forward and share her flowers with others battling cancer, just to brighten their day and put a smile on their faces.

Terese’s Legacy
After hundreds of treatments herself and hundreds of bouquets delivered to others on her behalf, Terese fought cancer with a smile on her face until her last day on August 13, 2019. Terese’s loved ones knew her mission of helping others had the potential to help many more, so they created Terese’s Flowers of Hope in her name. Funded fully through donations and operated by volunteers, this nonprofit has made 1,000 deliveries, and spread many smiles and most importantly, hope to cancer patients across Wisconsin.
